Our History
School of Business & Technology (SB Tech), founded in 2019 by Dr. Robert Irabor, provides job skills training in data-driven technical support for managerial and professional decision-making in organizations. Trained individuals can use and maintain various technology tools and equipment of their specialized occupation. After bachelor’s, Dr. Irabor earned two master’s and two doctorate degrees. He has over 40 years of experience in corporate, government, and college-university levels. Dr. Irabor began exploring the emerging IBM personal computer (PC) industry and its new business opportunities in 1980. In 1985, he ventured into business development systems services and training of corporate energy, oil, & gas companies; municipal transportation system; governments at all levels; educational institutions; and other organizations. One of the many accomplishments was managing the development of NASA-JSC space sample analysis system, as a subcontract through Krug Life Sciences in 1994. In 2008, Dr. Irabor created BAM Solutions for providing business and management consulting services and separated the training aspect of the business as a school in 2019. Today, there is a growing need for skilled workers to process big data for decision making in organizations. This new phenomenon is known as data analytics. School of Business and Technology – SBTech is dedicated to filling this technological demand which is driving today’s job skills market. Additional career areas will be included when necessary.
